I specialize in working with women in the perinatal period. My goal is to support the well-being of women and mothers as they try to find the joy of motherhood while also managing the complexities that come with it. I also specialize in working with children, specifically from birth to 5, and their families. I work with the littlest clients struggling to express "big feelings" and manage their "big behaviors." As a perinatal and infant-toddler mental health therapist, I focus on the emotional well-being of a woman, her partner, and their infant. I focus on issues that may arise during pregnancy or in the first year following the birth of a child. I use a relationship-based approach to help parents better understand the needs underneath the distressing behaviors.
I understand firsthand how unbelievably beautiful yet messy, exhausting, demanding, and isolating motherhood can be and the challenges parents, especially mothers, face trying to hold on to their former selves as they transition to becoming mothers. I offer an honest, compassionate, and judgment-free approach to therapy.
