Hello, welcome to Next Chapter Counseling Flagstaff. I am Julie A. Armstrong, LCSW and have been providing mental health services to adults, children and families for over 38 years. I have worked with a variety of people and agencies during my long career and now I am starting my New Chapter by providing individual and family therapy through the power of telehealth.
I have extensive experience working with families (birth and foster families) involved in DCS care, individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health challenges, depression, anxiety and grief. Most recently, I worked in primary care and have a new understanding about the impact of chronic health conditions on our mental health.
I’m eager to work with you and your family to meet your mental health needs by providing a safe environment for you to create a better life and healthier relationships. When you are ready to write the next chapter of your life, I'm here to support you every step of the way, offering guidance, empathy and a deep understanding of the human spirit.
