Journeys Counseling was created to be a safe environment for clients to find a space they can feel comfortable working on whatever struggles they feel they need to. We have many different therapists available allowing clients the flexibility to find someone who they will be able to connect with. By achieving this clients will be able to allow themselves the grace to feel vulnerable and work on issues they may have been afraid to address in the past. All of the staff at Journeys are trained in working with clients through a trauma-informed lens ensuring that no one will feel judged based on an interaction with any level of staff.
Our therapists are trained in many different treatment modalities and there are both male and female therapists available. Our support specialists work hard to connect you with the therapists who have the most experience in the area of treatment you are seeking.
Our therapists employ a strength-based, client-centered, trauma-informed approach at all times. In addition, some therapists are trained in specific treatment modalities and certifications above and beyond the required licensure. This includes TFCBT, EMDR, and DBT to name a few. Please reach out to our office staff to be connected with the right person.
