Hi, welcome! My name is James I am white, queer, neutrois, neurodivergent, adopted, chronically ill & a survivor. Where I am, so are my identities, including the work I do as a therapist. As a queer neurodivergent person, I am passionate & committed to supporting folx, through therapy, advocacy & social justice efforts, in the LGBTQIA2S+ & neurodivergent communities (regardless of whether an “official” diagnosis has been obtained). The kind of therapeutic space I aim to provide is one that is safe, affirming, culturally responsive, attuned, trauma-informed & transformational.
My goal is to hold space for clients to explore their emotions, experiences & identities without fear of judgment & provide guidance when invited to do so. Whether navigating trauma, life transitions, stress, identity or personal spiritual exploration, I am committed to supporting clients on their quest towards healing, empowerment & self-discovery.
I combine various modalities in partnership with clients intersecting identities & wisdom to work towards wellness, purpose & liberation from internal & external constraints. I'm informed by anti-oppressive, anti-racist, justice-oriented & anti-colonial approaches with values of collective liberation, interconnectedness, embodied joy & holistic healing.
