About
“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable” - Fred Rogers Sometimes we all need someone to help process through every day struggles, whether it be struggles with relationships, identity, work, or school. I work primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered and dialectical behavioral therapy approach and work to figure out the “why” behind emotions, help build awareness to emotions, reframe faulty thinking and find positive solutions to every day problems.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) trained in theories of individual, family and couples counseling. I see a wide range of clients, from children to adults, for a variety of reasons such as: anxiety, depression, relationship problems, identity concerns, gender and sexuality, self-esteem, family dynamics, and major life transitions.
My hope is that each session ends with a sense of purpose, a feeling of understanding and validation for emotions felt. I also hope for clients to recognize their inner strength and help bring that out in their responses to every day stresses.
