At this stage in my career, ideal clients would be those interested in working with me via the videotherapy platform outside of insurance. I have decided to transition to teletherapy for a variety of reasons, and I have found that it is a highly effective way to work with clients. It gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of when we can meet...days, evenings. $80 for a 45 minute session. My goal is to provide highly affordable, high quality mental health therapy to those I work with. I have a youthful and energetic personality. I am highly interactive during sessions.

I work primarily with adolescents (ages 10-25), marriages, and men's issues. I currently supervise a team of therapists through Unbroken Family Counseling. I work within this team and, when necessary, work with schools, psychiatrists, and other community resources to help my clients. My ideal client is a teen who doesn't think he/she needs counseling, a marriage that is on the rocks, or a guy dealing with guy stuff (guys know what I'm talking about). If I cant help you I can help find someone who can.

I am a Board-Certified Psychologist in Couples and Families Therapy in the area. Although my specialty is in couples, I also work with individuals on relationships, depression and anxiety. Besides providing therapy, I supervise and train other therapists to do marriage counseling. I am competent, insightful, empathic and appropriately funny. My goal is to be a "team member" with my clients firstly by helping create an environment where one can be "real".

I approach the therapeutic relationship from a client-centered lens with an integrative treatment approach. This means that I work with each client to develop a unique treatment plan to address their specific needs. I do not utilize a one size fits all approach and I believe that the client is just as important in this process as the therapist is. I examine all aspects of a client’s perspective including the systems that impact them. Treating the whole person is an important aspect for me in my therapeutic engagement with clients. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who has also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor(CADC) and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology(MCP). Much of my training has been centered in client-centered theory and I also have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In addition to being traditionally trained, I also incorporate​ a holistic, integrated approach toward psychotherapy which includes aspects of mindfulness and Eastern philosophy, providing individual, family and couples therapy as well as intervention work.
