I recognize that my clients need to work thru the emotion connected to their circumstances and are also very much looking for a fresh perspective, based in experience and professional training, to help them determine what they can do about it. I work to help my clients find solutions whenever possible & develop effective ways to cope with the impact of those things they can't change. I take an approach to counseling that is practical and goal oriented and have a style that both men and women can connect with.

As a Marriage and Family therapist I serve couples, families and also individual needs. There are many different needs that I serve one of them being mental health disorders such as Anxiety and Depression. Other presenting issues that I have worked with include, low motivation levels, lack of self esteem, school concerns, marital/ couple concerns, parent/child concerns and I can help process past trauma.

Christine is an experienced therapist who engages clients in the therapeutic process by developing treatment goals based on clients' individual needs. She partners with clients to develop a treatment plan that utilizes the clients' support system which may include their family and other medical providers in order to ensure appropriate treatment goals are set and achieved. Christine enjoys engaging clients in the therapeutic process by giving value to each client's perspective through her client-centered approach. After 10 years in marketing, I pursued my calling to work with individuals, couples and families as they re-imagine their lives and relationships. Together, we address concerns like anxiety, chronic illness, grief, marital issues and family conflict. I also work with postpartum depression including traumatic births and parents of children with special needs. Maybe things have happened to you; maybe you do things even you don't understand. But there are reasons why. Let's figure it out together, looking at your patterns and attachment styles and resolve it with EMDR and newer techniques, including fast, simple polyvagal exercises that reduce anxiety and depression. You deserve empathy and the innovative techniques, so you can create your own feelings of self-esteem, security and wellness.

Therapeutic interventions include integrative approaches along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Psycho-Education, as well as Eastern philosophical tenets, and EMDR. If you deal with Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Addiction issues, a Trauma history, Dissociative Disorders or Personality Disorders, you will receive competent, compassionate and empathic care. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for over forty years of which twenty-one years have included working as an Animal-Assisted therapist in counseling (equines, dogs, cats, pigs, ducks, donkeys, and a lamb).
