This leads to a long-term, frustrating cycle of trying to find a good fit.

I have been working in the mental health and social service field for over 20 years. In that time, I have had the pleasure of working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am passionate about helping others in finding peace and happiness within themselves and their relationships. I take a client centered approach and come from a place of compassion in building a strong trusting client-therapist relationship. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, challenges with life stressors, work and school issues, codependency, and family/relationship issues.

During my years in the counseling field I've worked with depression, anxiety, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, trauma, self-harm, addictions, dissociative disorders, men's and women's issues, codepedency, communication, infidelity, grief and loss, boundaries, divorce, parenting, marital problems, eating disorders, life transitions, adjustment difficulties, and many other issues.

I primarily work with adolescents, adults, and couples with concerns relating to life transitions, relationship struggles, grief and loss, as well as varying conditions of anxiety, depression, and other mood related conditions. My experience includes working with others through difficult transitions and periods of time, when a sense of direction may feel lost and motivation is a struggle.
