I have passion for working with adolescents and young adults who are struggling with difficult thoughts and emotions. I utilize current, evidence-based treatments for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, life stressors, family conflict and trauma.
I have training and experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma focused CBT, Exposure Therapy, the Collaborative & Proactive Solutions model, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to guide the client towards healing and self determination. I have over 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults.
Taking the time to build trust with a client is essential, especially when communication breaks down and despair seems to take over. I offer a nonjudgmental, compassionate environment and supportive approach to help clients gain understanding and build strategies in order to address the problems they face.
