My name is Chrishina J. Scott. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have 15 years of experience in clinical mental health. I work with adults ages 18 and older who have Life Transitions, Stress, Anxiety, Women's Issues, and Coping Skills. My primary treatment approach is Solution Focused Brief Therapy. However, I am skilled in utilizing other treatment modalities to help you reach your goals, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Supportive Therapy. I believe that life is all about trial and error.

I love working with teenagers and young adults. Hard to imagine? Being a young adult is hard. Living with a teenager is hard. The day in-day out struggles facing our adolescents is often the spark that ignites family turmoil and school issues. My extensive experience with adolescents/young adults gives me a rich background from which to draw. We will work together to identify possible patterns and problems, and develop solution-focused strategies. Though I do enjoy working with adolescents/young adults, I have many years of experience working with adults who are struggling with work issues, grief and loss, and other difficulties.
