Today may be one of the “Bad Days,” maybe even the worst yet. Lately, bad days are becoming more frequent. Racing thoughts, worry, anxiety, sadness, and lack of motivation seem to be taking over everything. You’re doing your best, but doing day to day tasks becomes a battle that is becoming harder to win. You’re always tired. Your brain never stops. Loved ones are concerned and maybe complain, which makes you feel worse. You shut down and either put on a show or avoid the people, tasks, and events that are important. The negative voice in your head is getting louder and louder and it says horrible and scary things to and about you.

My diverse work experiences have allowed me to counsel individuals struggling with such issues as anxiety, depression, addiction, adjust to unexpected life events, grief, and trauma. My work in the field of trauma has also included working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and childhood abuse. In addition, I have spent years working in the fields of home health and hospice, as well as providing support and psychotherapy to homeless individuals and those suffering from HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Cassandra Bates, a dedicated veteran with over 20 years of military service including deployments to OEF and OIF, brings her unique blend of resilience and compassion to her work as a marriage counselor, substance abuse specialist, and advocate for women's empowerment. With a Doctorate in Education and a background in social work, I strive to create a safe and supportive space for individuals and couples to explore their emotions, overcome challenges, and foster healthier relationships. My passion lies in helping clients harness their inner strength and voice, empowering them to thrive and create positive change in their lives.

Caroline Bosarge, LMSW Caroline Bosarge is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Georgia who has been practicing since 2015. She has a BSW from Molloy University and an MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin. Caroline has experience in crisis work, school social work, and case management. She uses various approaches to help through life's challenges. Her role is to create a safe environment for healing and growth. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys CrossFit, swimming, reading, and going to the beach.

My love of counseling stems from an intense desire to act as a catalyst in the process of helping clients achieve their goals. I believe that the counseling relationship is unique in that the counselor is only as successful as the client. The symbiotic relationship between counselor and client should be made up of trust, acceptance, respect, and a desire to mutually work hard to create a more fulfilling life.

I work with individuals, couples and families of all ages. I specialize in PTSD, Complex/Developmental Trauma, depression/anxiety, marital issues, family generational patterns, LGBTQ, and substance abuse. I am a registered mental health provider for WPATH (World Professional Organization for Transgender Health. I provide telehealth across the Georgia, with my physical home base in Savannah.
