Hello! It's really nice to meet you. My name is Katie Hummel, and I'm a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern as well as the founder of The Image of You Counseling, LLC in St. Petersburg, FL. At my practice, I offer evidence-based counseling services with a humanistic approach. I specialize in helping couples who are struggling to find their authentic selves in the relationship, or who are trying to figure out if the relationship can work. I also work with individuals who struggle with OCD, generalized anxiety disorder, depression, low self-esteem, abandonment issues, major or minor career changes, and an overall fear of change.

With over 50 years experience in helping clients make the changes they want to make, I focus on the strengths in the person and the relationship. I use a variety of approaches that have been helpful to many clients, including hypnosis and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Since 1988 I have conducted a Court approved Domestic Violence Intervention Program that has helped change many lives. I also have been very effective helping clients with anxiety,grief and loss, depression, addiction, anger, trauma and abuse. Individual, couples and families are welcomed.

She has more than 20 years of experience in treating mental health disorders as well as offering holistic methods to her clients. Regina specializes in many modalities of therapy yet focuses on each clients needs to use specific modalities of treatment. She has had many years working with young children to adults who have had or currently going through trauma. Within her framework she helps her clients focus on the potential of their inner strength while serving as a guide to their well being.

Here is a little bit about me: I have worked with primarily adults and adolescents in residential facilities living with substance use disorders and other co-occurring disorders. I also have experience working with families, couples, and individuals living with mood disorders, self-harming behavior, anxiety, anger, identity/sexuality development, body image, relationship issues, self-esteem, trauma, personality disorders, and grief.
