I am Dr. Bill Kuzbyt and I have over 25 years of experience providing counseling & consultative services to children, couples, & adults. I have extensive experience with ADHD, conduct disorder, marital issues & family stress.

It has been rightly said that all of life revolves around relationships. What we also know is that we’re living in day and age where stress, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, self-esteem, addictions, and life transitions are at an all-time high. I believe that healing is found within the context of relationships. My passion is to come along side you and your family to provide recourses and tools needed to live an abundant life through maintaining healthy relationships.

My practice is limited, as I'm a full time Psychology Professor and Department Chair at a Florida State College. I have over two decades of experience providing psychotherapy and relationship counseling. My clients tell me the hardest thing about reaching out for help is not knowing where to start or who to call. I work via Tele-Mental Health Therapy in Florida and Kentucky. I work with those struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Grief and Loss, or hundreds of other mental health issues. I believe you have the power to change and regain your life. I am just a fellow traveler on Life's journey who has many years of education and experience to help show you the way. I often work with my wife, Dawn, to help families and those struggling with their marriage or relationship. Sometimes couples prefer to talk with another couple. Dawn also helps with therapeutic support so you can get support during the week and between sessions.

I am currently accepting new clients with a wide variety of goals and circumstances. I aim to create a partnership to help unlock your potential, overcome challenges, strive for success, and manage difficult situations/negative life experiences. Every individual is extremely valuable, unique, and deserving of the support necessary to have a good quality of life, peace, and satisfaction. We offer in person & online counseling. We have a sliding scale from $60 - $120. We are available day, evenings and weekends for your convenience. We accept most insurance including UBH, BCBS out of network , Aetna, & CIGNA. We do not accept Medicaid. The Counseling Team specializes in working with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, co-dependency issues, addiction, anger management, couples, families, troubled teens, children, communication skills, fighting fairly, and and many other sources of stress that compromise the quality of a person's daily life experience.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addiction Professional with offices in Sarasota and New Port Richey. My experience involves substance abuse, mood disorders, co-occurring disorders and anxiety disorders as well as guiding people to reduce stress and living a more fulfilling way of life. Marcus specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and couples who are trying to get things on track. My priority is to relate and put my clients in a nurturing environment to grow. With couples I'm neutral reframing from shaming or judging. My background is in EMS working alongside law enforcement, nurses and doctors, military, and firefighters.
