I moved to South Florida in 2019 from Philadelphia where I practiced psychology since 1986. I have been in private practice for 35 years providing counseling and hypnotherapy to individuals and couples. I was the Director of Pain Psychology at a major teaching hospital for seven years and I have held multiple clinical appointments at numerous hospitals. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida. I specialize in treating trauma survivors and people with anxiety, depression, grief, and chronic pain. Most recently I joined the wonderful group at Delray Beach Psychiatry and Boca Raton Psychiatry alongside multiple psychiatrists.

Life has shown me we do not have control over all situations in our lives, but finding meaning and purpose in these experiences can provide a framework for personal growth and development. I attempt to empower others to safely explore their thoughts and feelings, to understand the root of their problems, and to experience a higher self-awareness and self-acceptance. Recently having moved to Delray Beach after spending over a decade and working in a children's hospital for 10 years prior to that, I decided to become part of a practice that utilizes a holistic approach to mental health. Using an eclectic approach allows me to tailor treatment and intervention to each client’s needs to support growth and personal development. It is rewarding helping clients go from dependence to greater self-efficacy as they develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges. I use evidence-based treatments to facilitate positive change.

Emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental health are all vital components to humankind and often interconnected. It is my goal to assist in helping each client reach "optimal health" through a variety of positive therapeutic approaches. My name is Betsy Pearl and I have been a practicing therapist in Florida for the last 25 years. I am originally from Baltimore Maryland where I received my master’s degree and started my career at Johns Hopkins. I have worked with a multitude of different people from teenagers, adults and geriatrics in a myriad of settings that include inpatient care in hospitals to currently outpatient private practice at Delray Beach Psychiatry. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 7 years of experience at outpatient and residential treatment centers in Connecticut and Florida. I am originally from Connecticut and moved to Florida in 2015 after completing my master’s degree. I obtained my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University, and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut. As a therapist, I truly enjoy learning about my clients, building a healthy relationship and providing them a safe environment to assist in reaching their goals.

Hilary is passionate about working with adults, children, adolescents, teens, and caregivers who have experienced trauma to improve overall functioning in the family systems and communities in which they live. She has provided therapy to individuals who have experienced grief/loss, witnessed domestic and community violence, medical trauma, abuse, neglect, and involvement with the dependency system. Hilary has also worked with individuals who have social, emotional, behavioral, development and learning concerns.

Our team works with children through adults, and offers services in English, Spanish and French. Our Educational testing services specialize in academic assessment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other Learning Disabilities. Memory testing services are offered in both English and Spanish, and are designed to evaluate people for potential diagnoses of dementia, brain injury, or other cognitive disorders. We evaluate individuals who have concern regarding the possibility of Alzheimer's disease.

Rosalie enjoys working with women, young adults (18-25), adults, and geriatric/older adult populations. Rosalie specializes in working with females who need support, encouragement, and help navigating their issues and areas of growth.
