Meu nome é Lidiana Cartolano, sou brasileira, formada em Psicologia há 20 anos e sou uma terapeuta especializada em trauma psicológico, adicção e vícios. Tenho formação em Mindfulness, Ludoterapia, Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental - técnicas cientificamente comprovadas no tratamento de diversos transtornos, incluindo os de ansiedade, depressão, bipolares, transtornos alimentares, transtornos relacionados a traumas e estressores, transtornos aditivos, entre outros. Na minha prática eu ajudo os meus clientes, sejam eles crianças, adolescentes e/ou adultos a superar suas dificuldades e melhorar sua qualidade de vida e bem-estar.

I have worked extensively with individuals struggling with a wide range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. I believe that each person possesses an internal system composed of different parts, each with its own unique thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. Through the gentle exploration of these parts, clients can begin to understand their inner dynamics and develop a compassionate relationship with themselves. I guide clients in identifying and healing wounded parts while fostering a connection with their core Self, which is inherently wise, compassionate, and resilient.

I am a board certified clinical psychologist and have experience working in private practice, hospitals, residential facilities, and outpatient agencies providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults through individual, couples, and family formats.My specialties include the treatment of eating disorders depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and relationship difficulties. I am able to fluently provide therapy in English, Spanish, and Portuguese I take a warm, culturally-sensitive, individualized, and collaborative approach to provide a safe environment, where my clients can feel comfortable discussing their life goals.

I have been practicing for 8 years, and I am fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. I have successfully worked with young children, adolescents, adults, and families to resolve many issues; including anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues,disruptive behavior, phobias, and relationship difficulties. I have no doubt that by providing a safe compassionate space and effective tools, patients are able to solve problems and find answers. I frame my treatment approach to meet my client's individual needs.

I will help you to gain insight, relate past to present while learning skills through practices that have proven to be effective. My practice in mental health reflects both my background in psychology at the Master level and my Doctoral degree in Biology.

I have been in practice for over 35 years. I weave my Psychotherapy to suit the person that I am working with. Trained in numerous modalities, I respect and work with the psycho-socio-biological and spiritual parts of the person. Developing the therapeutic relationship and cultivating trust are primary in my work with my clients. Intuition, Perceptiveness and Energy Fields guide me as well. My strong interest with Trauma Work comes from my belief that we all have been traumatized in different ways. Being in the womb, leaving the womb and the birthing process are the beginnings of trauma.
