Hi, I’m Ellie (she/her) and I’m so glad you’re here! As a counselor, I help people overcome stuck points in life - feeling stuck in a past memory or experience, feeling stuck in a depressive rut or anxiety spiral, feeling stuck in fear or overwhelm, or just feeling stuck, period. Maybe you know exactly what you want from counseling, or maybe you just want something to change. Wherever you are in your healing journey, we’ll work through things together.
I specialize in neurodivergence, LGBTQ issues, and trauma. I work from a trauma-informed, collaborative perspective and integrate mindfulness, cognitive behavior theory, interpersonal connection work, and values exploration for a holistic healing process. I'm also EMDR trained and can help you work through trauma and emotional pain in a safe, supportive way.
I know from my clinical work (as well as my own mental health journey) that wellness isn’t a linear path with a clear start and finish.
