I have experience working with a wide range of patients from young children to older adults. I approach therapy from a patient-focused and strengths-based lens, believing that each individual has the capacity to overcome life's challenges when it comes to all areas of work, relationships, and family. Additionally, growing up in a Chinese (Fujianese) immigrant family in America, I understand the impact of generational trauma and cultural identity struggles that first generational individuals and people of color may deal with. I work with patients and within the community to mend and grow from these experiences.

You may even begin to have self-doubts, struggling to move forward with your goals. The process of navigating these challenges on your own can be confusing, drowning, and overwhelming. I will work with you to build a collective space where we explore your concerns together, understand your emotions, and help you reestablish meaningful connections with others . I see therapy as interactions where you will be empowered to confront reality and appreciate yourself as a whole.

I'm licensed in both medical psychology and clinical psychology. I prescribe psychiatric medication to treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, psychosis, emotional trauma, and other issues in Louisiana. I use psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and play/art therapy to address mood and behavioral issues, and problems around family and social functioning, school, and personal identity issues. I strive to help people flourish, and can provide a specific and unique therapeutic experience for you to reach your personal goals. I help people improve their self-understanding, address unresolved issues, and strengthen self-esteem.
