Hello, my name is Bill DeFelice. I am a masters degreed level mental health therapist in the state of Ohio. I am licensed with my LPCCS. A secondary license that I have is an LICDC-CS. This enables me to treat clients who may be addicted to drugs. My focus areas of counseling are Mood Disorders(Depression, and Bi-Polar disorder), Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Family Counseling, Relationship Counseling and ADHD. My approach to counseling is to use the CBT approach. This is simply pointing out errors in thinking to a client and helping him/her develop rational and replacement thoughts.

Ideal clients for Dove Recovery are those men, and women struggling with mental health, drugs, and alcohol. We do exceptional work with those who have mental health issues, such as bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and others, with a primary diagnosis of substance use disorder. If I were to say if I had a type of client, it would someone that wants help. If there is a need for me to work harder than the person coming for the therapy session, then maybe they just might not yet be ready to address some of the deeper-rooted issues that led them to step out and ask for help. I know I try to remain more attuned and aware that the readiness to change is key to the success of therapy for a client. I want to work in tandem with the person to reach the goals they have set for themselves.
