As a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor specializing in substance abuse counseling, I will work with you to develop a plan that meets your needs, and where you are on your path to recovery without any judgment or shame. Together, we will work towards reaching your goals realistically, practically, and effectively. You will learn more about yourself and gain critical insight into your motivations. We can work individually with each other, or we can work as a collaborative team with you and your family.

Mind Mechanix, LLC. serves clients 6+ years old and and provides individual, group, relationship (couples/marriage), and family based therapy. We have a music therapist on staff, as well as therapists who will travel and provide services in the school setting.

I integrate psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapies according to your needs and goals for therapy. She specializes in Trauma Inform, Addiction, Dual diagnoses after many years of working with women coming out of incarceration. She currently works with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss. She also specializes in domestic violence, challenging irrational thoughts, and gaslighting.

My name is Laura Harper and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of mental health located in Seaford, Delaware. Through my experience as a counselor, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced trauma, attachment issues, troubles with anxiety, and depression. I have also worked with people who are living with Autism Spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and who struggle with addiction. I have received additional training in Patent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I completed all of my formal education from The Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), included a bachelors degree in Bio-Behavioral Health, a masters degree in Counselor Education/Psychiatric Rehabilitation, and a doctoral degree in Adult Education.
