I have worked for 25 years with those who have experienced trauma. I believe everyone has the capacity to heal if provided the right environment. That environment is what I seek to provide in my work with clients. It includes comfort, direct yet compassionate communication and high quality treatment modalities along with a fair amount of laughter. I currently enjoy working with adults and have experience with first responders, medical personnel, veterans, and other mental health professionals.
I have conducted mindfulness meditation classes, retreats and women’s circles. Looking through the lenses of attachment and trauma informed approaches I utilize Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Process Communication Model, Neurobiological approach, and Compassionate Communication. I also incorporate mindfulness, yoga, contemplative practices and nature.
