As a current career firefighter, I understand the door to the counseling office can be scarrier than the door leading to a dwelling fire. My personal counseling philosophy is that I am a traveler on YOUR journey. I believe YOU are the expert of you, and that the power of change is already within you. It is my goal to walk with you on your journey to wellness, allowing you to lead at your own pace, hoping to point out items in your blind spots along the way. My ideal clients are motivated and an active participant in their healing process.
I have a cross functional frame of reference that is very unique to the world of mental health. I have been a firefighter since 1997, and simultaneously I coordinated ministry programs for young adults. I have knowledge and experience in counseling couples, and individuals. I work with men and women toward reaching their therapeutic goals.
