I like to use an eclectic approach that is tailored to the personal needs of each of my clients, but at the heart of all I do is a belief in the strength and resilience of the people I serve. I believe that therapy is most effective when the whole person is treated– not just the symptoms. Each person is an individual with their own unique needs and experiences, and each person comes with their own strengths, insight, and abilities they can use to achieve their goals.
I have worked in a community setting and in a school setting to provide outpatient services for people struggling with a broad range of issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and anger. I have helped people from various backgrounds cope with stressors from life transitions, grief, job stress, relationship issues, and phase of life issues.
Life has a way of making any situation stressful, and it’s normal to sometimes feel like you don’t know what to do next. No matter what you are going through or have already been through, it is okay to ask for help. I look forward to helping you take those first next steps.
