Traveling through your journey in life is a powerful experience with unexpected bumps in the road, often creating feelings of uncertainty and self-doubt. When we experience thoughts and feelings that are uncomfortable such as depression, anxiety, stress, and changes in mood, we tend to also feel it physically in our bodies through lethargy, pain, and changes in sleep and weight. Inversely, what we put in our bodies often times impacts how we feel emotionally, without often times even knowing it. Using a mind-body therapeutic approach allows you to identify skills for a means of transformation in your emotional and physical life.

Hi, my name is Lidia Kamionka and I have worked with a wide range of individuals from toddlers to adults. My primary areas of interest include social skills, adaptive living skills, self-advocacy, functional communication training (FCT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I am passionate about helping all our clients, and want to make a difference that will benefit them in all aspects of their lives. I believe that ABA is the best approach to helping make this happen.

Rapid Eye Technology (RET) is a powerful ocular-assisted stress relief technique and a leading modality in treating PTSD symptoms. This powerful quick release happens without reliving the trauma. RET simulates REM sleep—your body’s own natural release system where problems are solved. Accessing the whole mind/body system while in an awake state allows you to be in control of your own journey; you now have your conscious mind to make a new choice concerning presenting issues. It's all part of your natural discharge mechanism and helps in repairing neural pathways that have been distorted by traumatic memories.

Coaching Therapists
Life coaching is an increasingly popular profession that has no specific licensing or academic requirements. Though psychologists also often consider themselves life coaches, these therapists don't focus on treating mental illness. Instead, they help individuals realise their goals in work and in life.
