I am a Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about equipping people with the tools to feel empowered in their everyday lives. My work in college mental health, trauma informed care, and substance abuse recovery has provided me with crucial experience working with individuals and groups addressing a range of concerns. My specialties are varied and continue to grow, ranging from depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, to life transitions, multicultural considerations, social justice, relationship challenges, and stress-management.
It is my goal to provide a space where individuals can explore and express themselves. I believe that therapy is a dynamic process that requires various approaches. Some of my techniques include: feminist therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation.
