As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I enjoy working with individuals, couples and children that are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, addiction and codependency. I work from a family systems approach to help facilitate healthy communication and to help identify the toxic patterns that are causing the unwanted symptoms. I also use Cognitive Behavioral techniques to help individuals learn how their thoughts, emotions and behaviors are linked and then how to make changes in order to help them reach their goals.
I have experience working in residential drug and alcohol abuse recovery centers, where I've worked with women from ages 12-70 as they seek to find freedom from addiction. I help them uncover the roots of their addiction so that they can live happy, healthy and sober lives.
I believe that everyone is capable of change, they just need motivation and support to take the steps necessary to build the happy life they've been wanting. I believe in providing a safe, judgment free, loving environment where the client is free to be themselves and learn more about who they are and what they need to live a happy life.
