We are a private practice Counseling Center in Ruston, La. We have 6 Counselors who practice in our Ruston office and 1 who offers Telehealth only services. I have a heart to help people who are hurting and looking for relief, change, and hope. As a compassionate and dedicated therapist and clinical social worker, I am passionate about assisting individuals on their journey toward mental and emotional well-being. With licenses in both Louisiana and Utah, I have devoted the past six years to establishing a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where individuals can release their suppressed emotions, promote healing, and lead fulfilling lives. With a Master’s in Social Work, I specialize in helping clients navigate a broad range of challenges, including stress, anxiety, family conflicts, anger management, self-esteem, trauma & abuse, coping with major life changes, and more.

I believe we meet no ordinary people in our lives and I am passionate about using evidence-based psychological methods to help my clients heal, grow, and ultimately flourish. I count it a privilege to be able to help people process many different types of painful experiences such as trauma and loss, depression, anxiety, and marital conflict. I provide therapy and psychological evaluations to help clients build upon their strengths, while also helping them identify and remove obstacles that have been keeping them from reaching their potential.

I am interested in helping you become the best person you can be...for yourself and for your family. I want to help you accept and grow from your past experiences and improve your future. My practice is focused on High impact individuals who have discovered that their past or present is potentially impacting their future. I am looking for clients who are ready to act and are committed to change. Ready to move themselves to another level of success while also maintaining relationships. I enjoy working with individuals and couples to work towards a common goal.

I enjoy working with clients in a variety of formats,including individually,couples,families and children. I am trained in EMDR and play therapy. Most recently I have been trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART uses imagery rescripting and memory reconsolidation to alter negative emotions and sensations associated with pain or trauma,in as few as 1-5 sessions. I have experience helping clients with a variety of issues such as depression,anxiety,marriage,self-esteem and divorce.

I have substantial experience providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy in areas of addiction, mental health, trauma, grief, anger, relationship issues, and other life and family issues.

Growing up watching my grandmother struggle daily with mental illness, I naturally grew to have a heart for helping other people. I have spent the last decade of my life in the helping community and I believe that it is my life’s purpose to help people actualize the life they wish to have. I explain my position as a therapist by saying this to my clients, “It’s not my job to fix you because you are not broken. It’s my job to help you see things in a different way that will help you to function better” I welcome you as clients to embark on this journey of healing. It’s not always easy but the results with be so rewarding.
