I believe we meet no ordinary people in our lives and I am passionate about using evidence-based psychological methods to help my clients heal, grow, and ultimately flourish. I count it a privilege to be able to help people process many different types of painful experiences such as trauma and loss, depression, anxiety, and marital conflict. I provide therapy and psychological evaluations to help clients build upon their strengths, while also helping them identify and remove obstacles that have been keeping them from reaching their potential.
I offer psychotherapy to adolescents through older adulthood, and have specialized training and expertise working with college students/young adults and Christians who are navigating mental health concerns. Additionally, I provide psychological evaluations to assess issues such as ADHD, personality/mood problems, and chronic pain (e.g., SCS trial).
I integrate principles from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and emotion-focused therapies. I aim to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals within a safe, trusting relationship in which they can freely explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
