My priority as your therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space that allows you to navigate life’s stressors and to provide guidance in helping you meet your identified goals. My approach to treatment focuses on the perspective that you are the expert; you know your emotions, thoughts and experiences best. I affirm and honor all identities and practice from a person-centered, strengths based, social justice informed approach.
I warmly welcome working with adolescents and adults. I specialize in treating anxiety and other mood disorders, relationship concerns, life transitions and women’s issues. I am an ally to all members of the LGBTQIA+ community and proudly provide gender affirming care, including surger letters. I am also currently purusing a certification in sex therapy.
I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2011 with my Masters in Social Work and have been practicing since. I earned a post graduate certificate in Affirmative Therapy from Widener University in 2021. When I am not at the office, you can find me enjoying time in nature, reading and spending time with my partner and our rescue dog.
