I believe that people are complex individuals with dynamic lives and histories, and so my approach to psychotherapy is individualized to each of my clients. As a Counseling Psychologist I am searching to find health or “ego strength“ in a person. People are capable of having internal positive and negative aspects in play at all times. Working from a psychodynamic model to see the whole clinical picture, I believe insight is crucial but it doesn’t guarantee behavior change. Rachel Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 14 years in the mental health and addictions field. Rachel works with adults who are seeking help for trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, Women’s issues, and life transitions.
