Welcome! Advance Health and Community Services was founded in 2014 with the intention of providing quality behavioral health services. It is the mission of AHCS to assist and work closely with individuals, couples, and families to promote emotional wellness, build resilience, and provide the necessary support to make a positive change in their lives. Our organizational framework allows us to help individuals in regaining their independence and to help them to better cope with their behavioral health issues in accordance with national best practices. AHCS practices a person centered approach which empowers, motivates, and ensures that the person served is an active participant in their therapeutic process. Our treatment team consists of Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Counselors, Master's Level Clinicians, Targeted Case Managers, ABA Therapists and Group Therapist (PSR).
At Advance Health and Community Services, we offer a wide range of services within a comprehensive therapeutic environment that includes medication evaluation and management, screening and assessment, diagnostic determination, individual and family counseling, psycho-social rehabilitation groups, support groups, and ex-tended co-parenting services.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Group
Our Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program (PSR) program consists of group sessions designed for adults who are diagnosed with a mental health disorders and who experiences symptoms that result in functional impairments in major life activities. We provide psr services in both English and Spanish. PSR provides education to group members about mental health illness, fiscal responsibility, pandemic concerns, appropriate medication management, social and interpersonal skills, as well as relapse prevention. Groups are designed to teach and promote independent living skills in a relaxed and enjoyable manner.
