Welcome to my practice! I'm passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of their mental health journey, particularly in areas of ADHD, anxiety, and depression. My approach is deeply rooted in understanding each person's unique experiences and tailoring treatment to address their specific needs. Living with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or mood disorders can often feel like navigating through a labyrinth of challenges. I also see individuals of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, cultures, and beliefs.

The purpose of therapy is to restore the client to a healthy state of life by helping to remove barriers that may hinder this process. I specialize in the mental health care of children, adults, couples and families. My services include individual, group, marriage counseling and family therapy. Parent training, workshops, play therapy and prevention groups are also offered. I have twenty years experience working within the field of mental health. I utilize a number of therapeutic techniques and interventions that are tailored to the the client. I'm an Independent Assessor, Clinical Supervisor, mentor and consultant.

With 10+ years of experience, I work with clients with a variety of mental health needs. I work with children as young as 3 in play-based therapy, addressing anxiety, behavioral issues, parenting needs and familial transitions. I also work with couples exploring pre-marital counseling, marriage counseling, separation/divorce or co-parenting. I work with teens struggling with anxiety or depression as they navigate the realms of social media and pressures of GenZ. I also see many adult clients 1:1 who just need extra support in this season of life: whether from work stressors or family conflict or just wanting better mental wellness.

When I think of myself as a Counselor, I envision providing unconditional positive regard and "Good Old Fashion" Southern Louisiana Hospitality to clients. Based on the client's individualized needs, I practice the eclectic approach to guide them through the healing process.

Therapeutic Partners, LLC, is an outpatient behavioral health clinic owned and operated by clinicians who believe progressive, integrative care vastly improves patient outcomes. We specialize in trauma informed care and have multiple therapist trained in several evidence based approaches, including EMDR, Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma Based CBT to name a few. We also offer Neurofeedback (Othmer Method) as an adjunct intervention for our clients. Our team-based approach assists our clients in achieving their highest possible level of functioning, thus improving the overall wellness of our community.

I specialize in individuals who suffer from behavior, social, mental, and emotional barriers. My educational and clinical experience has equipped me with years of training analyzing behavior and mental disorders along with social and emotional adjustment. I utilize an integrative approach to counseling. Through my experience as a counselor I have gained competencies in mental processes and disorders and various therapeutic techniques such as behavior modification techniques, positive self-talk, coping skills, mindfulness, anger-management skills, and much more. I have a strong passion to educate and sow into the life's of others.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), certified by the Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners. I specialize in providing assistance with addictions, co-occuring disorders, depression, PTSD, anxiety, parenting, anger management, children of divorce, trauma, domestic violence, grief, and behavioral difficulties. I also serve as a parent mediator. I believe that the holistic approach can empower individuals, couples, and families to overcome personal obstacles and improve relationships. I provide a warm, supportive, and accepting atmosphere conducive to personal growth and healing.
