Psychotherapy is a personal experience. I treat and support individuals and couples who are struggling with worries, sadness, and relationship difficulties, or who feel "stuck" in their lives in some way. I also have special training in helping individuals cope with medical illnesses, grief and loss, and trauma. As well, I work with high-achieving individuals who are striving for balance and personal satisfaction in their lives. I work collaboratively and compassionately to reduce current distressing symptoms and to examine long-standing patterns. My approach is interpersonal and psychodynamic.

I am passionate about helping individuals and couples reconnect to what matters most to them and learning to support one another through the inevitable ups and downs of life and relationships. I aim to help clients better understand the cycles they get stuck in and find accountability and agency for their contributions to these patterns. I also support clients in exploring and deepening intimacy in all its forms (emotionally/psychologically, physically/sexually, energetically/spiritually, etc.)

I work with individuals, couples and families. As a psychotherapist, my intention is to build a relationship of inquiry that not only allows for healing of the past, but also facilitates bringing your fullest self forward by creating an environment where you feel safe, supported and well resourced. My style is relational and trauma-informed, warm and direct. I am passionate about understanding how you’ve learned to adapt to your environment by honoring the strategies you’ve used to survive. By looking at your past experiences we can better understand the ways you are struggling today.

I bring a warm, client-centered style to working with my clients. My approach incorporates psychodynamic principles, developmental and attachment theory as well as CBT and ACT strategies and tools. I see it as a true honor to walk with individuals as they discover their own story and begin to experience positive change in their own lives.

I work with adults, couples, teens, and families, helping them to successfully attain short-term goals and craft long-range solutions by utilizing a variety of approaches matched to their specific needs or expressed desires as they learn new ways to address life's challenges. As a level 3 Gottman couples therapist, I work with couples utilizing John Gottman's evidence-based theory.

I apologize but my practice is full at this time and I am unable to accept new clients. Whether you're looking to address issues from the past or need support through a current situation, you do not have to do it alone. Since 2002 I have counseled youth, adults, couples and families with overcoming obstacles while developing the tools necessary to maintain a healthy path. Anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions and parenting are among the many issues with which I am able to help. These stressors can lead to self-destructive behaviors or withdrawing from others in order to cope.
