Dissatisfaction with work or life, feeling unhappy, anxiety, the loss of a loved one and feeling stuck are all reasons people come to therapy. Life has ups and downs and it can feel overwhelming and sometimes painful. I help people live their best lives by resolving the things that get in the way. I bring innate compassion with advanced training and extensive experience to help my clients find fulfillment, confidence, and clarity. My clients say they feel happier, lighter and able to be their authentic selves. I use approaches that are gentle and promote increased insight and clarity while resolving what got in the way.
I wanted to be a counselor so I could help others. I have always been interested in people & their stories with a desire to understand & promote growth. I have a secular approach; I use therapies that are proven to be effective at creating real change. The best part of my job is when my clients tell me about their successes and their new, better life.
My desire is to create more understanding, self-compassion, insight and success in your goals. I have extensive training in EMDR, Ego State Therapies / Internal Family Systems, & Mindfulness.
