In my work, I want to understand your brain functioning, as well as how information flows. Perhaps your brain is functioning well but processing the information that comes in is a struggle. Or perhaps you have a peak performing brain in terms of how information is processed, but it is not functioning to its peak level. As a client, you have been to countless doctors, and therapists, as well as other types of treatment. And yet you STILL can't seem to get stabilized or feel like your life is on track. Medications might work a little - but really don’t seem to solve the struggle. and you just want to feel normal and feel GOOD!

Welcome! I am Haley Calhoun-Davis, licensed therapist at Capstone Connect, PLLC. Choosing a therapist can be a very significant decision. I am a former high school teacher and high school/middle school counselor. I recently earned my LPC-A to broaden my reach and work with adults of all ages. My previous work in a school setting has given me great insight on the vast stressors and emotions experienced by adolescents and young adults. Through compassionate counseling, I enjoy helping others discover their own strengths and abilities. I strive to see people of all ages break through fears and anxieties and discover their true potential in a safe and judgment-free environment. I love to walk clients through difficult transitions and discover joy on the other side.

My style is direct, interactive, practical and I am described as genuine, easy to talk to, insightful, engaging and motivating.

The initial diagnostic consultation will be for one to two sessions and may include some diagnostic testing. This evaluation will help us to identify the most appropriate evidence based treatment for the specific areas of concern. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for depression and anxiety are some of the evidence based treatments that I commonly provide. My work with families focuses on providing the skills to both children and adolescents, and their parents.

I believe clients are the experts of their own story, and I am passionately committed to making the therapeutic journey respectful, authentic and safe.

The clients closest to my heart are my fellow 20- and 30- somethings who thought life at this point would be... well, different. Those who are managing, but don't feel like they're thriving. The ones who are craving a change. Those who are ready to sort through the effects of their experiences differing from their (sometimes lifelong) expectations. This is often an isolating time, but I am ready to walk alongside you as you take your first steps toward intentional mental wellness!

Tori has experience helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, depression, personality issues, forms of psychosis, grief/loss, and sexual abuse. She maintains an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment and is clinically and culturally competent to help all people heal and become better.

I have spent the past 40 years evaluating and treating children and adults with ADHD symptoms. I believe that with the correct assessment and treatment children and families can have a better and happier life. At this time I am only accepting new patients who are seeking a comprehensive evaluation. No custody or forensic evaluations. No insurance.

Disruptions in relationships regularly occur in life and the experience of feeling disconnected is not uncommon. Many of us have experienced children growing older and leaving home, job loss, retirement, frequent arguments with those closest to us, divorce, separation, and death of loved ones. Some of us have experienced life threatening events, serious illnesses and physical losses that result in a dramatic shift on how we fit into the world and in the lives of others. These events can result in a loss of satisfaction in life or at times a loss of hope in having a life worth living.

I believe life is all about understanding self and finding meanings through our relationships with self and others. The power for change is within individual and their relationships with others through genuine dialogue where allow you to truly understand your own unique experience through sharing, curiosity and learning. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, parents, adults and families. I work together with parents and teachers helping children succeed in school. I help parents understand the issues behind their child's anxiety, which may reflect in low academic performance and poor social skills.
