My ideal client is anyone who is eager to make changes toward a healthier and more fulfilling life emotionally, mentally, physically, career wise or spiritually. My therapeutic approach is based on empowering each client I work with and helping them to use inner resources as well as the resources around them. I adjust my techniques and approaches to the needs of each client and pride myself on practicing cultural flexibility. I understand that clients want responsiveness, respect, knowledge, resources, and a therapist who can empathize. Clients want to be truly heard. I am here to listen and to facilitate your healing.

I work with couples where one or both individuals suffer from anxiety and are ready to move from stuck and afraid to freedom and peace. This can be from a trauma that keeps them from showing up authentically in their world. It can be from the pressure of being a church, community or business leader who feel they must save face or suffer in silence. It could also be those constantly struggling through systemic and multigenerational trauma, depression or PTSD. I even help couples in their intimate relationship that they want to strengthen, transform, and save.

Building a trusting, compassionate relationship is my foremost priority in therapy. I help clients develop strengths, assertiveness, and resiliency to cope with life's challenges while reorienting to more adaptive thoughts + feelings, improving relationships and increasing attunement. I believe that our brains are naturally adaptive and a clear understanding of how your mind works can empower healthy change. That’s why I use a combination of attachment theory, trauma-informed mindfulness, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), and Gottman Institute's research-based approach to therapy.

I also enjoy serving those experiencing burnout, compassion fatigue, and those working in helping professions. My clients seek a comfortable way to decrease and manage difficult emotions and issues.

The client is willing to engage in the therapeutic work with their time and energy in the effort to move toward healing.

Life's journey presents challenges for us all in unique ways. But the world didn't know they were seeds.
