My practice offers individual, family, and couples therapy to adult and young adult clients. This is a safe, nonjudgmental, and inclusive space for clients of all racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, sexual, and economic backgrounds. I treat a variety of presenting issues including couples/marriage concerns, infidelity, trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, addictive disorders, life and role transitions, parenting, and grief/loss. In today's world, there has been a growing trend of being more focused on perfection, often to the point of harsh self-criticism. We are expected to say yes to every request all while feeling overburdened and without a voice. As a result, we get so caught up in our lives that we forget, or have never learned how to set healthy boundaries which can result in the lowering of our self-worth. My focus is working with clients ages 12 to adult struggling with issues such as burnout in our personal and professional life, difficulty with communication skills, and practicing self compassion. Life is more complex than a diagnosis.

Being trapped in the throes of addiction, relational conflict, trauma, and crippling shame can seem so scary, lonely, and hopeless. It is heartbreaking to envision the person we wanted to become or the relationships we desired to have, but the messiness of life circumstances has made both of these things feel out of reach.
