In today's world, there has been a growing trend of being more focused on perfection, often to the point of harsh self-criticism. We are expected to say yes to every request all while feeling overburdened and without a voice. As a result, we get so caught up in our lives that we forget, or have never learned how to set healthy boundaries which can result in the lowering of our self-worth. My focus is working with clients ages 12 to adult struggling with issues such as burnout in our personal and professional life, difficulty with communication skills, and practicing self compassion. Life is more complex than a diagnosis.
In my practice I utilize components of CBT, Mindfulness, Behavioral Activation, and Attachment Theory. I come to each session with an open mind in an atmosphere of non-judgement so that my clients can feel safe and supported to help them discover their own inner strength and reach their full potential.
I view myself as a guide to help my clients navigate the complexities of life and help them rediscover their voice that they may have lost long ago. I strive to meet clients where they are at and help them get to where they would like to be.
