I left my career in the finance industry to pursue my passion for healing and health in 2013. I have a warm and caring personality and am experienced working with individuals, couples, families and children. I use a variety of treatment modalities, but my approach is very client-centered. I often utilize a cognitive behavioral approach to counseling, helping clients understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors and learning which they can control.
I have worked with families experiencing child abuse and neglect, marriage difficulties, depression, anxiety and self-harming behaviors. I see the therapist's role as helping people navigate through difficult life situations to achieve healing and peace.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and in Gottman's Method of couples counseling.
