My specialties and expertise are focused on treating adults and children who have anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive spectrum disorders, are going through life transitions (like life after divorce), or who would like help with their parenting skills.

I am a registered art therapist and professional clinical counselor and enjoy working collaboratively with clients to harness your own personal empowerment. I help to teach clients how to embrace wellness techniques, while building awareness, in order to reach your own therapeutic goals.

I chose a career in counseling because I have always had a passion for helping others. I believe patients deserve a safe place to share and work on struggles in all aspects of their lives. During an initial evaluation, my goal is to develop an understanding of what each individual patient is seeking and provide a thorough consultation of how to direct treatment. I completed a Master of Arts in counseling at Ursuline College. I will not be accepting new patients until March 2024.

Hello! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here today. It is a brave and vulnerable step to consider therapy, and I believe it is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. I specialize in working with women experiencing perinatal and parenting issues: infertility and pregnancy loss, depression and anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum, birth trauma, and overall adjustment to parenthood. The journey to becoming a parent is complex, and you deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated along the way. Additionally, I enjoy supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationships.

Sidney believes in creating a safe space for clients to reflect, work on self-acceptance, and build a DBT skillset that will help them navigate their emotions and interpersonal relationships more effectively. Sidney has curated these skills from her time specializing in treating high school and college aged clients with suicidal ideation. She understands that days can feel like a marathon filled with feelings of shame and untrue, negative stories we tell ourselves. Sidney enjoys empowering her clients to retell these stories and find meaning, truth, and hope within them to pave the way for a more authentic and fulfilling future.
