I help individuals and couples cope and move forward though anxiety, depression, addictions, career changes, life stages, and relationship concerns. I offer support as you clarify what is really important to you and how you want to progress toward the life you want. My primary interventions for treatment come from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), a cognitive behavioral method. Rather than trying to push away your troubling thoughts, an effort that does not usually work, I help you change your relationship with those thoughts, to lessen their power and control over your daily life.

Life is a challenge we have to take on, it’s not what we see when we look at our neighbors or social media posts. We face difficult life transitions that everyone is trying to figure out. Most of us try to be polite and only show others around us the pretty parts. Our world is changing all the time and this can create feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, or other mental health issues. When life appears to be overwhelming therapy is a great resource; working with a trusted, empathic professional. Welcome! My name is Chloé Charles, I am a pre-licensed mental health professional and owner of Power of Play Therapy, LLC. One of my greatest passions in life is using my training and expertise to help others achieve optimal mental wellness. As a member of the Florida Association for Play Therapy and Registered Play Therapy supervisee, my clinical experience has primarily focused on providing services to children and adolescents. I do this by following an integrative theoretical model ensuring that my treatment approach is comprehensive and specified for each client.

I specialize in working with adults who have complex psychiatric and medical issues, such as depression, anxiety/panic, posttraumatic stress, psychological trauma, physical trauma, chronic pain, and cancer. My name is Megan Goddard, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S), Registered Play Therapy-Supervisor (RPT-S), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S), and I have been in in practice for over 10 years. I am a Qualified Social Work Supervisor in the state of Florida as well as a Certified Grief Informed Professional and licensed to practice in Florida, Ohio, and New Mexico. I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and Counseling and the University of Cincinnati with a Master’s Degree in Social Work.

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of childhood and adolescent mental health and behavior disorders. I am a former elementary school teacher and specialized in school psychology during my doctoral training. I work closely with children, their parents, healthcare providers, and educators to address each child’s individualized needs and promote healthy childhood development. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral parent training, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) skills.

Dr. Roque has completed a clinical internship with the Broward Sherriff's Office, North Broward Bureau. Her work there included providing mental health services to inmates with psychiatric disorders, including group and individual therapy, and comprehensive psychological assessments. Dr. Roque has experience conducting psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Evaluations have been conducted for a variety of reasons including treatment formulation, intelligence and academic abilities, and forensic competency.

I specialize in helping people make sense of difficult situations in which they find themselves and are unsure of how to find their way out. This includes confusion from past traumas or adjustment to present circumstances. Some of these adjustments are from environmental pressures or biologically bases issues that need clarification and direction. Experience and the ability to listen carefully are two of my strengths, and two of the necessities of successful counseling. My fees are $125 per session. I do not see couples, but can refer to specialists.
