My approach is neurodiversity affirming. My role as an evaluator is to listen, understand, & accept a client's lived experience & help identify their struggles, as well as identifying their strengths and aspirations. The evaluation process is a collaborative one in which clients, regardless of age (youths get to be truly heard), have an opportunity to share experiences without time constraints & without having to be viewed solely through a set of test data & questionnaires. While these tools can help clients communicate concerns, test data alone is not the best method in truly understanding one's unique experiences & circumstances.

Nicole Ocana is a seasoned clinical mental health counselor, holding a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, from Nova Southeastern University. Nicole's journey towards becoming a mental health counselor has been deeply influenced by her extensive and impactful experience in a challenging environment. With over 12 years of dedicated service in an inpatient mental health hospital within a correctional setting, Nicole has demonstrated unwavering commitment to improving the lives of individuals facing complex psychological struggles. Nicole's mission to provide unwavering support, foster resilience, and inspire personal growth.

As for my credentials, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2000 from Barry University. In 2005 I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. I worked for ten years at Citrus Health Network, while also working in the area of disability and diagnostic testing at What's On Your Mind. My primary areas of clinical interest and experience include early childhood development assessments as well as family therapy.

Megan Guerrier is a Marriage & Family Therapist who attained her Master's degree at Nova Southeastern University back in 2014 and has been doing therapy ever since. Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families offering a holistic approach to therapy. Megan has done therapy in Miami, Wyoming, Colorado, and now Homestead and has been studying psychology since her senior year in high school where she took AP psychology and fell in love with the field ever since.

Born and raised in Miami, Fl., Mrs. Rodriguez graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies in 2008. Soon after, Mrs. Rodriguez attended Barry University where she was awarded a Master of Science degree with a dual specialization in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy in 2011. She is licensed in the state of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and as a Marriage & Family Therapist Intern.
