My ideal client is someone who is struggling to cope with overwhelming emotions. They may have experienced trauma or abuse in the past, and they may be struggling with unstable and intense relationships. They may have tried individual therapy or even been psychiatrically hospitalized, but they still struggle with anger, mood swings, impulsive and erratic behavior, addictions, suicidal ideation, and self-harm urges and actions. My ideal client is someone who is ready to do more than just change their thinking; they want to change their life.

I have always had a desire to help others in their journey and believe that everyone has the power to heal within them. I consider the therapeutic relationship an equal partnership in helping my clients achieve their personal goals in working towards becoming their ideal self. I believe that the healing process is a collaborative one with other health professionals if beneficial.

I treat a variety of conditions including but not limited to ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar, Personality Disorders, OCD, Phobias, Trauma, Military life issues, etc using a variety of techniques. I specialize in individual, family, and group therapy for both Deaf/Hard of Hearing, people with disabilities, and hearing individuals. I have been a Sign Language Interpreter for 25 years so I am fluent in American Sign Language. I also work with college students as I am knowledgeable regarding student issues and academic needs

I am licensed in Florida with 12 years of professional work experience helping clients learn effective skills to manage stress and anxiety, along with identifying the root causes of addictions, & how to cope with trauma and abuse. I also have experience working with feeling depression, adjustment disorders, and relationship dysfunction, as well as with high school, college, and professional athletes for improved performance and well-being. I believe in short-term (3-5 days) and long-term (As long as needed) therapy treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.

I am a registered Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is currently working with individuals virtually in the state of Florida. I use a humanistic approach, seeing the good and potential in all people, to work alongside clients as they are on their healing journey in a judgement free space.
