I am Meka, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I’m a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor. I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Professional Counseling. I specialize in grief, trauma, relationships, LGBTQI+, Maternal Mental Health, Infertility, and more. I do believe my clients are the experts of their lives and the concerns they are experiencing. For many of us, issues with fertility mark the first time that we have wanted our bodies to do something that they seem not capable of doing. Struggles with fertility are traumatic experiences. However, my specialty focuses on those who suffer with anxiety, depression, performance or sexual concerns including sexual trauma and/or performance anxiety. I also work with former or current athletes, military veterans, police officers, and trauma survivors who may suffer with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My specialty also focuses on feminist therapy as I empower and encourage those who are under privileged and underserved. I also enjoy working with members of the LGBT+ community to empower growth and give a voice to any member of the LGBT group.

Chandler loves to work with youth and adults who are coping with mental illness, eating disorders, and trauma using a holistic, compassionate, and strengths-based approach with a trauma-informed perspective. She enjoys helping clients recognize and challenge trauma-related stuck points and develop more self-awareness as to how their past traumas may be influencing their present. Chandler offers counseling with the combination of genuine support and openness and the opportunity for healing through creative expression. Chandler sees therapy as a partnership that can lead clients towards more self-awareness, connection, and growth.
