Listening with respect is the beginning of our relationship, and I engage in “active listening” – asking questions for clarification, and making connections to a person’s past. Together, we’ll identify the issues facing you. Then, we’ll map out a plan to deal with those issues. In this way, I often serve as a life coach in addition to being a therapist.
