I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Virginia with over 13 years of experience as a social worker. I have worked with children, adults, and geriatric populations. In my practice I have addressed concerns regarding depression, anxiety, and Life transitional issues. My practice also includes caring for Family members diagnosed with dementia, or Alzheimer’s, grief, and bereavement matters.

Valerie Mack is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker bringing 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, couples and families. She provides therapeutic services to treat those diagnosed with Addiction, ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Grief, PTSD and Schizophrenia. Valerie believes each person has inherent resilience, and a strengths-based approach along with Cognitive-behavior therapy and Mindfulness techniques are utilized to assist clients with their goals. Her passion is to create a non-judgmental space to help clients feel empowered and connected; body, mind, and spirit.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Resident with over 7 years experience in the mental health field. Virginia Support Services is a State Licensed Mental Health Skill-Building Service program that provides behavioral and mental health training and support services to individuals with mental, behavioral, or emotional impairments in major life activities by supporting an individual's level of functioning and promoting his/her autonomy. We service individuals age 16 and up with a mental health diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder-recurrent, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia or other psychotic disorder, a history of higher level of psychiatric care such as hospitalization, residential treatment or ICT/PACT, prescribed Rx therapy.
