I work with both adults and adolescents specializing in anxiety, addiction treatment, family dynamics, and major life transitions. I work with individuals presenting with a wide range of concerns. I have extensive experience working with individuals with addiction and with their loved ones, with individuals who have experienced trauma, and with families in conflict. I work with individuals struggling with life transitions such as personal identity, divorce, and career change.

Hello all! My name is Ashley Arnold and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have my bachelors degree in Music Therapy and my masters degree from Molloy College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I use a client centered approach and believe that my client’s should be an active part of determining their goals for therapy. I have post graduate training in trauma focused therapy, addiction therapy, and multicultural approaches to therapy. I typically work with clients 13 years and older. With the help of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we can work to heal childhood trauma, adult PTSD, and distorted thinking that limits joy and growth in your life. Additionally, I have experience with supporting clients with cognitive integration after a psychedelic treatment. I can support you in taking control of both your body and mind.

Throughout the years as a mental health practitioner, I’ve found counseling from a spiritual perspective to be most effective. Although psychoanalytic and many other theoretical approaches are essential in helping clients understand their current state, I believe it is important to focus mainly on the here and now to address the immediate issue.
