Liberation Psychotherapy’s primary mission is to help clients explore their experiences thereby clients can heal and grow and embrace their strengths and resiliencies. Sean is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 8 years of experience working with individuals and families in clinical settings. His experience ranges from working with adolescents in foster care to adult individuals/couples in the community struggling with a wide variety of mental health and relationship issues. Sean has spent 6 years providing counseling services to teens on the autism spectrum with multiple challenges and/or intensive psychiatric needs. With a person-centered approach, Sean provides individualized care to clients based on their needs.

Ricardo Despradel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York who has been practicing since 2020. He graduated from Smith College School for Social Work. Ricardo provides a culturally sensitive approach to mental health concerns while maintaining a strength-based approach. Outside of work, Ricardo enjoys aerial silks and contortion.

Richard is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and has a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from New York University (NYU). Richard has over 20 years of experience working with individuals in outpatient, forensic, and community settings. He provided individual and group counseling to individuals with a mental illness and substance use issues who were incarcerated. Richard diagnosed and assessed individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Richard spent 6 years providing behavioral therapy to adults who have a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Herb Feuer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York who has been practicing since 1980. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College of the City University of New York and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University. Herb has more than 20 years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. He works with adults in individual therapy to increase choices of thought, feeling, action, and direction. Herb especially values making his clients laugh, to lift their spirits while addressing personal challenges.
