As a mom, single parent, and professional, I know how important it is to check-in with ourselves; being able to look at our lives deeply. To understand where our thoughts and beliefs come from, how we can best nurture our emotions and move through life's changes. It's important to remember we are doing the best we can. Yet, sometimes it feels too hard or we feel uncertain how to grow. We are human. We all have challenges, wounds or uncertainties as we go through one life stage to another. Having the right support and resources can help move us toward a path of growth and comfort.

My clients are typically school-aged children as young as 5, preteens, adolescents, young adults, and women of any age with complex trauma. Topics that may bring clients to see me include those suffering from anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, grief, family disruptions, and much more.

I help my clients better understand themselves and others because when we understand why people behave, think, and feel the way they do we are able to form stronger connections. Scott Simon, M.A. LMFT Scott completed a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliance Graduate School of Counseling in 12/2019. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and had a successful 30-year career on Wall Street. He enjoys working with families, couples and individuals. His approach integrates cognitive behavioral (CBT), structural, Bowen, Object Relations, narrative and experiential therapies, including completing EFT Core Skills training.
