Allison Barton is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner located in Madison, WI. Beginning August 2024, Allison is accepting new clients. She can prescribe psychiatric medications and provide therapy. Allison is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), which is a therapy used to treat PTSD, anxiety, self esteem concerns, and panic. Dr. Shah is welcoming new patients for video appointments. As a Board-certified M.D. psychiatrist, he specializes in assessing and treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD and other psychiatric issues. A holistic provider, he combines non-pharmacologic approaches - including psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy - in addition to medication. He utilizes such therapeutic modalities in medication management appointments as well as dedicated therapy sessions. Consequently, patients benefit from well-integrated treatment that is both systematic and thorough.

I provide counseling and psychiatric medication management. I collaborate with the patient regarding medication options. It's important that I understand the patient's story and experience in order to select appropriate medication/s. I have been a practicing Nurse Practitioner for 23 years. I have a completed the certification for Master of Psychopharmacology with the Neurological Education Institiute (NEI) and ADHD certified with Evergreen certifications as a clinical services provider. I try to focus on the patient's needs by listening to their concerns. Together we work on the most important struggles the patient is experiencing. I use a holistic approach to treatments, such as diet, exercise, sleep hygiene, with medications and counseling to treat mental issues. I feel that it is most important to listen to my patients.

We are a network of psychiatric prescribers including physicians, GP psychiatric prescribers, and NPs, serving throughout Wisconsin. Sara Feist is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She completed graduate school at the University of North Dakota earing her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Prior to becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Sara spent nearly 15 years as a Registered Nurse caring for children and adults in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric unit and outpatient psychiatric programs.

Bronwyn Dilley is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 1999. She has a master's degree in Family Nursing and Psychiatric mental health. Bronwyn has a good understanding about how mental health disorders affect the brain. She educates people about the medications and how they work to treat mental disorders. Bronwyn uses a holistic approach using diet, exercise, and sleep hygiene with counseling and medications to treat the mental issues. Outside of work, Bronwyn enjoys golf, gardening, and cooking.

Dr. Embrey is an integrative and holistic child and adult psychiatrist in Washington DC. She is also seeing patients in Virginia, Maryland, and Wisconsin (virtually). Having trained at Johns Hopkins, she treats psychiatric illnesses with an approach that involves evaluation and treatment via traditional psychiatric methods, medications, and therapy. She also includes an assessment of how complementary interventions may be helpful toward finding mental, emotional, and spiritual balance and vitality.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and nursing assistant. I have worked with a large population of people over those 19 years and would love to help you out in a non-judgmental way.
