Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and nursing assistant. I have worked with a large population of people over those 19 years and would love to help you out in a non-judgmental way.
I work with teens through adults. I am especially passionate about helping those who suffer from anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, and addiction with co-occurring disorders. I have helped patients within the Milwaukee/Madison area deal with some of the most critical circumstances in their lives.
I would like to work together to come up with the best plan for you. I'd like to avoid polypharmacy (the use of multiple drugs) and find what works. If it's something you feel good about, you're more willing to follow-through. I can work with your current therapist or refer you to one if needed.
